Cause: Could be caused by an inconsistent or under-powered USB port on the host computer.
Possible Solution: Install an externally powered USB hub to the host computer and connect your BIORez device host unit and security key (aka dongle) to the USB hub.
Background: This fatal error occurred once in January 2022. It took some time to resolve. The solution to this error was resolved by installing an externally powered USB hub so there was likely an issue with the power on the laptop. It took some time to resolve. The error trapping involved windows AV/Firewall for which i installed McAfee which did not affect the error that was occurring randomly before and during use. The USB ports were messed up, the drivers would only be recognized of the devices were connected to specific USB ports. It appeared to be an electrical hardware issue so i decided to install the externally powered USB hub to boost the power output and it worked.
Note: The Solution offered is based upon one resolved incident, it will likely resolve this error however it is unknown if this error can have other causes.
